Library Bookworm

The student who borrows the most books every month will have his or her picture posted on the Library Bookworm wall, get a certificate and a prize.

Which book?

There will be a quote posted in the library every month. All a student has to do is to quess which book the quote came from. Only the first five guessers each month would get a prize.

Scavenger Hunt: Nonfiction

Whenever a student finds a convention in any book that they borrow, the should write the book’s accession number and the page where it was found, on the space provided in the form attached to the library card. All answers should be countersigned by the librarian. Each convention should be found in different books. If a student finds 3 of each, for all conventions, he/she wins a (random) prize. (Open only to students from Grade 5 to 4th year high school.)

Whenever a student finds a character in a ny book that they borrow, he/she should write the book’s accession number and the name of the character on the space provided in the form that will be attached to the libary card. Answers should be countersigned by the librarian. Each character should be in different books. If a student found three (3) names each, for all characters, he/she wins a (random) prize.

Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) Race

For every nonfiction book that you borrow, have the librarian sign the corresponding box in the form that will be attached to the library card. If a student completes 3 signatures each in all boxes, they get a (random) prize. (Open to students from Grade 2 to 4th year high school.)
