Fines and other Fees

Overdue Books and Non-Book materials (Except Reserve and Reference Books) : Php5.00 per day
Lost and Irreparable Books : Replacement + Php30.00 Processing Fee
Damaged Books / Equipments : Replacement + Php30.00 Processing Fee (if not repaired)
Printing (black) : Php3.00 per page
Printing (colored) : Php10.00 per page

NOTE: All payments must be made at the bookstore. Show a proof (receipt) to the librarian as soon as payment is made.


Overdue, Damaged, and Lost Materials

These are borrowed materials which are not returned on time. A fine will have to be paid upon return of overdue materials. Borrowing privileges are temporarily suspended if fines are not paid.

If a material is damaged, the borrower mus have the material/ equipment repaired before returning. In case of lost, the borrower must replace the material with the same title or with a material under the same subject (subject to approval of the librarian) and pay the processing fee.

NOTE: All payments must be made at the bookstore. Please show the librarian a proof (receipt) as soon as payment is made.


Books on reserve may be signed out only after dismissal time.

Reservation for the use of any equipment and/or facility (AVR/Library) is on “FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE” basis provided that said reservation is made three (3) school days prior to use.

Borrowing, Returning, and Renewal


  • Fill out the details on the book card.
  • Present library card and the book/s to the librarian / staff in charge.
  • Get the book/s.


  • Borrowed books should be returned at the circulation desk on or before the due date.
  • Books read inside the library should be put at the designated shelving area.

Any book/material needed beyond the due date may be renewed twice, provided no on else has reserved it beforehand.


The HEDCen Library is open to all bona fide students, faculty, and staff of the Holistic Education and Development Center.

STUDENTS may borrow three (3) circulation (nonfiction) books and three (3) fiction books for one (1) week (excluding Holidays, Weekends, and Suspended Class days), except for EARLY GRADE STUDENTS, who are only allowed one (1) book a week. Items are renewable once. Students with loaned out items will not be allowed to borrow additional books.

ADMINISTRATION and FACULTY may borrow ten (10) circulation (nonfiction) books and three (3) fiction books for one (1) month, and ten (10) textbooks / teacher’s guide books for one (1) school year. All materials must be returned on the last week of the school year for inventory.

EMPLOYEES may borrow five (5) circulation books, and three (3) fiction books for one (1) month. Items are renewable once.

All ALUMNI and PARENTS are welcome to stay and conduct research in the library. However, they may only use the resource materials in the library.

RESEARCHERS from other schools or office may use the library upon presentation of a valid school ID, a referral letter from the office or school librarian, and a payment of the library fee which is Php50.00 per day. Private researchers may only use the resource materials in the library.
